What counts as a signing
A signing is one completed waiver form, whoever it covers. A parent or guardian who signs for the minors in their group signs once. A form that is opened and never finished is not a signing.
How billing works
Installed from the Shopify App Store, Waiveon is billed through your Shopify account, on the same bill as your Shopify subscription. Standard starts with a 14-day free trial, and nothing is charged until it ends.
You choose, change or cancel a plan from Waiveon's page in your Shopify admin.
Questions
Are digital waivers legally binding?
In the United States an electronic signature has the same legal standing as one on paper, under the federal ESIGN Act and the state laws built on the Uniform Electronic Transactions Act. Whether a particular waiver holds up depends on its wording and on your state's law, so have your own attorney write the text. Waiveon keeps the evidence: who signed, what they were shown, and when, sealed and timestamped.
Can a parent or guardian sign for their children?
Yes. A parent or guardian signs for the minors in their group on the same form, and that form is one signing. A waiver that lists a minor is kept until that minor turns twenty-five, or for ten years, whichever is later.
What happens after 25 signings in a month on Free?
Free covers 25 signings a month. A venue that signs more than that needs Standard, which has no monthly signing limit and starts with a 14-day free trial.
Is there a yearly price?
Yes. Standard is $79 a month, or $790 a year, which is two months free.
Can I change plans later?
Yes, at any time, from Waiveon's page in your Shopify admin. Moving from Standard to Free stops the order sync and keeps every signed waiver.
What does Waiveon read from my Shopify store?
Orders and products, through two read-only permissions. From each order it keeps the order number, the line items, the tags, the sales channel, the payment status, and the buyer's name, email and phone. Waiveon reads orders from your Shopify store and connects it to nothing else.
